I love adventures with my family!

A few years ago, my family and I stepped out of our comfort zone in the midwest and said yes to a new beginning for our family in Dallas, Texas. Our journey has not only stretched us in many ways, we have also grown closer together in the process.

My crew loves getting outside and being active, whether it's going fishing or headed to the baseball fields to take a few grounders and knock the ball around a bit. We enjoy family movie nights, fresh popped popcorn and good home cooked meal!

Now that my kiddos are older, the list of daily activities seems to grow by the day between sports and after school clubs. My husband and I may be outnumbered, but we consider ourselves abundantly blessed that God saw fit for us to be parents to our 4 amazing children.

I love all things gardening & flowers!

Over the years, I have completely fallen in love with 'the garden'. It is a sweet therapy for my soul when I get to work the land and reap the benefits of harvest. I am completely in awe of my Creator and the beauty found in His creation! I simply can not soak enough of it in!

It is safe to say when my clients request wildflower sessions or local botanical gardens for their location of choosing, I get pretty excited!

*The most enchanting gardens I have ever walked amongst are located on beautiful Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan.

The Origin of BEAUTOGRAPHER

A little fun fact you may not know is that way back in 2006 I became a licensed Esthetician. I worked in several salons/spas across the states over the years. However, after my 4th child was born, I decided I wanted to change things up a bit and I became a Freelance Makeup Artist. I worked weddings nearly every weekend making up Brides-to-Be and their bridal parties. I found so much joy and fulfillment in working with women in all stages of life, helping them look and most importantly feel their best, on such a monumental day in their lives.

Over time, I decided to take it a step further and offer my services as a makeup artist not only for weddings, but also prior to photoshoots as well. Once I made up an entire bridal party early in the morning then grabbed my camera and photographed the wedding and reception to follow. That was one long day!

So, after a few years of combining my Makeup artistry coupled with Photography, my friend dubbed me "The Beautographer" and I guess it kind of stuck!
